“A Celebration of Life”

Our Sunday afternoon volunteer, Pam Udis-Kessler, hosted an afternoon party on June 5th in her spacious backyard to  celebrate her 5th  year of health after fighting a challenging personal battle.  Pam invited friends, family, neighbors and KK volunteers to relax in the serene setting and enjoy music, food and conversation with new and familiar faces.  Pam declined gifts but accepted donations in lieu of the gifts.  After an afternoon of fun, which featured her daughter Amanda on keyboard, the donations amounted to $470 in cash and included numerous tins of cat food, litter, toys and even some fresh towels for the cats.  Pam was thrilled that such a personal event could generate so much good will for KittyKind.  Not only does Pam throw a great party but she is pretty good at asking the public to make a donation on Sunday afternoons.  KittyKind thanks Pam for her thoughtfulness and hopes that she will be with us at Petco for many more years to come.
