Mature Cats looking for Mature Humans
October 31, 2009Tiko and Sophie, Happy Cat Friends
October 28, 2009
Well he’s no longer Bandit, he’s now Tiko (short for Pincepe Gatito) and he is really doing fabulously. He LOVES my other cat, Sophie, and (as you can see from the pics) she is adjusting to him really well. Today we actually woke up to find them laying together with Sophie licking Tiko’s head…I almost died from the cuteness! We had ALWAYS wanted a little boy orange kitten, but had never found one we bonded to right away until we met little Tiko. He is downright hyperactive, which keeps Sophie on her toes. He’s such a joy and a welcome member of our family.

Fonery, a Cat with a Rich Personality
October 20, 2009
Foneroy is such a wonderful cat and I’m very grateful to KittyKind for bringing us together. He’s got such a rich personality and it’s been a lot of fun getting to know him. From the moment I opened his carrier, he was an intrepid explorer, curious about everything in his new home and not the least bit scared. He also follows me around in the house, and always seems interested in what I’m doing. In bed he even crawls under the covers just to see what’s there. He’s also a conversationalist, which is delightful. I’ve heard of talking cats, but never knew any who did more than ask for food. Aside from at mealtimes, though, Foneroy will mew, chirp, purr, and meow anytime we’re together. It’s great having a cat who not only listens, but who will give his own opinion too! In all, Foneroy continues to be active, curious, and a wonderful companion.
I really couldn’t ask for a better companion. I’m very grateful to all the volunteers–especially Patricia, Beverly, Stephen, and Miriam who helped me personally–who took such good care of him and helped bring him into my life!
Best to all,
Liz
All About Eve (In Her New Home)
October 16, 2009
Short version first: Our kitty is perfect.
We do remember there was some concern in ancient history, when EVE (then named Mindy) wasn’t presenting well in a cage. Rest assured, she has shown for almost two months to have all the personality to match her beauty. She has favorite spots all over our apartment but has not stopped exploring. She greets us when we enter, vocally and by requesting a belly rub. Guests are treated just as warmly. She will immediately respond positively to new toys and loves affection.
So enjoy the pictures, we will enjoy our cat. Thank you very, very much.

Introducing The KittyKind Memorial
October 13, 2009
The KittyKind Memorial is a place to celebrate love given and love received.
At KittyKind we know how special the relationship is between a pet and his or her guardian. It is heart breaking when the pet, that we have loved and cherished for so many years, leaves us.
This memorial site gives all of us a chance to let the world know how special our pet was to us–and that they live on in our memories.
